In response to the devastating Konkan floods of 2021, Saahas Trust acted swiftly to provide essential relief to the communities of Chiplun and surrounding areas. As the floods wreaked havoc, leaving many families displaced and in urgent need of assistance, our dedicated volunteers mobilized immediately to offer support.
Saahas Trust played a crucial role by distributing clothing, food supplies, and essential day-to-day items to the affected people even before the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) could reach the area. Our volunteers worked tirelessly, camping on-site throughout the Chiplun flood crisis to ensure that relief efforts were effective and timely.
Our commitment to serving humanity during emergencies like the Konkan floods underscores Saahas Trust's core values of compassion, resilience, and community solidarity. By being present on the ground, we aimed to provide not only material aid but also comfort and reassurance to those facing adversity.
The dedication and selflessness shown by our volunteers throughout the Chiplun flood crisis reflect the spirit of Saahas Trust—standing shoulder to shoulder with communities in their hour of need.
